Default Can't seem to remember the name of a game...

Hi

I've been tinkering with my old Amiga 600 recently, and remember an old game demo I used to have. But for the life of me, I can't remember its name.

The game is a sort of RPG, but really more of a detective story. Its in sprite format, and looks directly down onto the characters/rooms. The main character had black hair and wore a leather jacket. I think you began in a hotel lobby. I can remember having to press a button to enter a lift. It was a very dark story line, and "dark" may have been in the title.

Sorry it seems a little vague. It was a long time ago.

Any help you can provide would be wonderful.

Quandary has a review of the game. I didn't really like it.

I liked the repetitive music.

Yep sounds like Dreamweb. I remember playing that game. I didn't really like it though. Also it was one of the first mainstream games to feature a sex scene.

I think I´m the only person in the world that likes this game a lot, especially the ending.

While we're on the subject of games you can't remember the name of, I've got one. It was an adventure game for the PC from the early 90's. It was about time travel, and you played as this Roger Wilco ripoff character who was a janitor. It starts off with you cleaning out your boss' office, and you find some secret panel in a hidden room that sends you back to (I think) the age of the dinosaurs. Anyone know what it was?

I looked into it, and yeah, FutureWars was the game I was talking about. Thanks a lot! That had been bugging me for ages!

Thats the baby!!!

Was that game ever released as a full game? If so, does anyone know where I could obtain a copy?

Thanks for all your help so far!

I just played that game. Fount it again thanks to this board. And still loved it.
I didn't think there were that many pixel hunts. Compared to a newer game like "runaway". That game had way too many pixel hunts for my taste.

If you want to, you can try downloading Dreamweb a warez site (but we don't link to those here)
