I have got 635 points, but I performed the action "analyzing the Saint Anthony & Saint Paul postcard" so I guess everything is ok now.
But I will replay this segment, because I am not sure how many points you receive for the whole analysis of Poussin painting in Sidney. According to Thomas Hayes's solution, it is 9 points and I am not sure it is so. |

I'll post my thoughts, impressions and speculations tomorrow morning (or this night if I can squeeze them in). In the meantime, someone wants to share?

Lets round it up boys and girls!
Andrea; This chapter was, like I stated in an earlier post, a Le serpent rouge fest, but also a chance to get to know Gabriel better, personally considering his feelings towards Grace. I played this game several times before and I realize that what I mostly care about is the story between the two main caracters. And to be honest, thats the only reason really I want a Gabe4. The story about the two meant to be is what matters. Jane; rock our world:-) |

You know, you'd think I had more time to play now, but as it turns out I've not played almost at all. I think I could've caught you already. Oh well, I'll just keep on with my memory-based comments from far behind you. |

This game is awesome !
Simple as that ! In-depth analysis is about to follow ... And, I´m back on track regarding the full point achievment I don´t know how and where but there has to be another irregularity with the online walkthrough within the actual segment. (additional to getting just 5 instead of 7 points for overhearing the Gabe/Mosley conversation)

I decided not to post it to avoid the problems we had with the last two segments, but OK, here it is. This time I took it directly from the aformentioned walkthrough to avoid incomprehension.
I have put the necessary actions in bold. 10 AM - 12 AM Spoiler: 12 PM - 03 PM Spoiler:

I know it was in the previous time segment, but I was wondering what is the significance of the poem that Grace leaves to Gabriel after she had found it in the San Greal book - the one he comments about that there is an awful lot of blood imagery in it. Why is this poem there?

I believe that Emilio left it there for them to read. The poem, Charles Peguy's La Tapisserie de Saint Genevieve, if I'm not mistaking the name, and particularly the segment he selected, is about a division of the world in a Jesus' illuminated part and in a Satan's dominated reign. The segment was obviously about the blood - a blood springing from Grace and Light (Et le sang dans l’artère et le sang dans la veine, /Et la source de grâce et la claire fontaine), and a blood oozing from the darkness ([...]Et c’est la même artère et c’est la même veine /Et c’est le même sang et la trouble fontaine). The fact that the two fountains are the same alluded at the fact that

Thanks Andrea. So when do we begin discussion about these two timeblocks? Are you going to post summary of them as usual?

I was actually waiting for someone to start posting. Lately, I feel that me and you and Tiocfaidh are the only one commenting, but there are many people on this playthrough, and I like to hear their opinions too.

Two major events in this segment: Wilkes death and le serpent rouge. Some detective work to do here, and even though I love the mood and the creepy atmosphere at the murder scene, I have some problems with the actual game play here. I searched the ground for a very long time and it almost felt like the good old pixel hunting from earlier adventure games. I found it very hard to find some of the "clues" even though I had played the game before. I still like this segment though since it has a great horror feel.
Back to Le serpent rouge and it is safe to say that this riddle (as I've said in earlier posts) is the most intresting part in the game, when it comes to problem solving. I really love to sit at evenings, only me and grace, solving part after part. I still get that exiting feeling everytime I make progress:-) I havent commented much lately, but the summer weather kinda interfered with my game play:-) Still checking the forum everyday and I read all comments from you guys. Keep it on! Skaata |
