What do you all think of my present?
hey everyone!
I have been a visiter of the site for many years, and i wanted to say thanks for being a great community. I thought this was pretty cool and you might wana see. I was 21 yesterday, and my awesome girlfriend baked me something pretty cool, to match a tattoo i got on my arm to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Grim Fandango last year, and my love of adventure and the great community here in general! Let me know what you all think anyway, and it would be cool if anyone else has had similar adventure related gifts! Also feel free to take one and pass another along..will take me forever to eat 21 of them on my own... Last edited by MartyMcFly; 01-22-2009 at 04:52 PM. |

That's a really cool tattoo you've got there. And thanks for the yummy cookie.

Hey, man. I was ready to cringe when I read the tattoo part, but it looks pretty damn nice actually. It's awesome on its own even without knowing a thing about Grim Fandango. Good times! Happy birthday too, those cookies look tasty.

Thanks alot man!
I'll be honest, i had wanted a tatoo for years, but was never 100% sure on the design. When i decided to get the Grim Fandango one, i liked it because it was simple, solid black, and as you said it looks fine even to people who don't have a clue what it's from. It was originally taken from a t-shirt that i own(and every time i wore it on a night out somebody would comment, it was insane!) I just manipulated it abit in photoshop so it was as basic as possible, and then i knew it was what i wanted. I am very pleased with the final result! Thanks alot for the kind words and the birthday wishes! |

Hey, man, that's a pretty neat tattoo. I want one like that. Either that or the Templar coin from Broken Sword with the two knights on the same horse. And the cookies look yummy by the way.

Oh man, I shouldn't have looked at this thread while I'm hungry. Those cookies look both very cool and delicious!
As for the tattoo, also nice, but come on... the AG logo is where it's at! Oh, and happy birthday, by the way. |

Thanks for all the birthday wishes and complements! I actually only have about 4 cookies left now, theyre so nice! Think me and the misses will have to make some more for my new addiciton! And yeh terramax tattoos dont come cheap sadly nowadays! I thought mine would be £20-£30 due to its simlicity and lack of colour...boy was i surprised! Jackal you should get the Adventure Gamers tattoo and then make cookies to match! I wonder if anyone else here has an adventure tattoo...would be interesting to see! I do know that my girlfriend got the idea for the cookies from this cool website! : http://www.snackordie.com/2008/11/gr...m_cookies.html |
