Your Favorite Sub-Genre
After my thoughts about the crime/thriller trend, I decided to make a public survey. The question is pretty simple: concerning adventure games, what is your favorite sub-genre?

Well, a game successful at blending genres (horror, mystery, sleuth, drama) like Gabriel Knight is a rara avis, since this is one of the few characteristic that set masterpieces apart from other, less fortunate, attempts.
But if I have to choose a single genre, I would definitely say horror.

Horror, but Film Noir elements are always welcome as well.

Fantasy environments like Myst/Rhem - a strange world where exploration and experimentation lead you to find out what happened.

I've just seen that the majority of the games I love are categorized by Adventure Gamers as Mystery, Surreal - so Mystery Surreal it is!

Definitely Sci-fi. I don't mind a good Horror, though.

O, I don't know yet. I am now working on Sinking Island, and after that I will see. Sinking Island is pretty good BTW, especially compared to Paradise, its predecessor.
