AGAIN: Eye of Providence (Cing; DS)
AGAIN: Eye of Providence
JPN Name: AGAIN FBI 超心理捜査官 (AGAIN FBI Chou Shinri Sousa Kan) Release: Spring 09 TBA Platform: DS Publisher: Tecmo Developer: Cing Trailer on Youtube IGN preview Gamasutra Interview Since this game was first announced back in October I'm a bit surprised this has yet to be mentioned here, or maybe I just missed it If i did miss the topic please delete this post Anyway, it's another murder mystery DS adventure by Cing. This time Tecmo are publishing the game rather than Nintendo. It's not the first time these two have worked together (Monster Rancher DS), and neither would it be Tecmo's first murder mystery game for the DS (Japan only though ). You play as a detective who has the ability to look into the past, and you'll be using that ability to solve murder cases. Not much info has been released since the first announcement, but the early screenshots do give a similiar vibe to Hotel Dusk. Let's hope some more info will be announced soon. And here's an English screenshot of the game:

Ah, great! I'd heard about this game a while back, but not that there were any plans to release outside of Japan (though I figured it would eventually).
Consider AG's Again watch now officially started. |

Good to see this is getting an English release. I've enjoyed Cing's other DS games.

Japanese webpage is now up: http://www.tecmo.co.jp/product/again/index.html
It doesn't give out anymore information on the gameplay, but there is a trailer which is in English. If the trailer is anything to go by, expect the game to have a very B-movie feel to it lol

Bumped for some new info from TGS '09-
JP release date: 10th December 2009 US release date: 2010 New Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jsJcbmF07Ak Notice that the sub-title 'Eye of Providence' has been removed and the change of logo. New IGN preview: http://uk.ds.ign.com/articles/102/1028091p1.html New Gamespot preview (with more pics + interview): http://uk.gamespot.com/ds/puzzle/aga...kan/index.html The Japanese website has also been updated with more info, with the new preview movie and a character flow chart. - http://www.tecmo.co.jp/product/again/ Looks to be alright, I noticed a lot of people not liking the use of real actors but I don't think it's too bad. The gameplay looks interesting, a bit like Time Hollow where you can compare the past and the present. Hopefully it won't be delayed for another year lol

They have done a wonderful job with the graphics and I can't wait to try out the game, hoping that it will be more like Hotel Dusk and less like Another Code.

Whoops, looks like the 'March 2010' in the trailer was referring to the story rather than the release date lol.

AGAIN Hotel Dusk Obviously I'm only judging from the very few screenshots and vids, so only time will tell on how the game will play. Inevitably it will be compared to Hotel Dusk, but it does look like it may have a few surprises for it to stand on its own. And speaking of Hotel Dusk, if you check out the the storyline on the Again website, there's a place called 'Hotel Miranda Room 315' which seems to be an important part of the story.... hur hur
