Default Sam and Max Fan Game?

Has there ever been some kind of a Sam and Max game made by fans? If not, this might be the perfect time to start sth like that.

I heard a HUUUGE rumor from someone who claims to have a relative involved in the music development of the game say that the team were still continuing to finish off the game but very slowly and secretively. However, to address your idea, I wouldn't be intrested in a fan game. Seems like there's a fan game to everything these days, we want the real thing.

Yeah, no fan game is going to live up to Steve Purcell's writing.

"A LucasArts spokesperson was quoted as saying 'We honestly don't knwo how the game ended up being offered for free download on the front page of our website for nearly 5 days. We blame Kazaa.'"

I've seen it. Pretty much Sam & Max stuff, yes indeed!
It was like playing a sequel!

The italian version is completed, and the english translation is nearly finished.

I really think the effort would be best applied elsewhere.
