Anyone remember this game ??
Back in the early 80's when I had an apple II computer I played an adventure game with an interesting twist. The object of the game was to find some sort of stone. What made it interesting was there was a $10,000 reward for the first person to mail in where the object was located in the game.
The game was mainly a maze. I never found it but was curious if anyone else remembers the game or had played it.

Sounds a bit like Eureka
The object was to find the missing bits of a stone. It had maze subgames (and the adventure bits were pretty mazy sometimes) and there was a cash prize.

Well it has been a while.
That might be it but I played it and according to your link it was not written for the Apple II. Anyway thank you for the reply.

Reminds me of Eureka too; At least the stone and the $ price. Was such a long time since I played it (and never finished it, sadly) but it also took place during different time eras. I remember Roman times and WW2 Germany.
Dunno if that helps, but It is the only adventure game I know of that actually had a money award. |
