Default How many people here are involved with adventure game design?

Just wondering how many people here are involved with adventure game design, independent or commercial?

I've worked with Squinky and a whole bunch of other people on various games. Mostly as beta tester and proofreader. (See my staff bio for list. I'd recommend them all by the way, and not just because I was involved)

My Darkness Within credit was for poetic consultancy.

I have beta tested a couple of games, but never tried designing or developing one.

I was a beta tester of Darkness Within and Sherlock Holmes, The Awakened Remastered edition.

I should have asked more, like what role do you play in your participation? Coder? Writer? Artist? Designer of puzzles?

Professionally, programmer/designer. Amateurishly, everything else.

I design them all in my head.

If only I had the skill to turn them into reality.

Actually they are probably better off where they are.

- I have done some Beta Testing now and again.

I work in graphic and web design, but my real passion is game design and www.mindtankstudios.com is my first little project. I'm aiming to make a short freeware first person adventure game for PC.

I've created one short Flash game and one medium-length AGS game (and planning future ones) entirely on my own except for the music. Amateur creations, of course.
