I don't know if, at the end of the series, there would be a boxed edition, in the like of Sam & Max Seasons. At the moment, however, the digital download is the only available chance!

I think casebook is too dumbed-down to be considered a FMV adventure. Even comparing it to games like D

It's an interactive movie slightly contaminated with casual games. But the strength of the story is sufficient to overwhelm D without any single doubt.

I'm sorry to pull out such an old thread, but I wanted to tell you about an interview with Lorelei Shannon that we (Adventure-Treff) just released. The interview deals with Lorelei Shannons whole career at Sierra and therefore also with games like Laura Bow 2 and King's Quest 7, but the focus of the interview is clearly on Phantasmagoria 2. I thought that this might be interesting for the fans of P2.

Thanks for the link jack
I´ll read the interview in the evening.

I have to admit I haven´t played the Phantasmagoria games myself.

I only watched a "Let´s Play - Puzzle of Flesh" by an internet reviewer called Spoony.
It´s the only "Let´s Play" I´ve watched from beginning to end.
Having not played the game myself it was very interesting for me to at least experience it this way.
Didn´t like his style at the beginning but it kept getting better and better (like the game itself).

for those who are interested, here´s the first part

http://spoonyexperiment.com/2008/10/21/lets-play-phantasmagoria-2-a-puzzle-of-flesh-hour-1/

As for the last chapter I agree, felt like it belonged to another game.
The comparison with Fahrenheit is spot-on.

From all the characters I have to stay that Trevor stood out as the most fleshed out & well written.
