Default Console Adventure Games List

Im new to this site so I hope this isnt a common question but basically I want a list of every adventure games on xbox 360, xbox, ps2, gamecube, gba, wii (but I dont like playing it very much).
Im running out of games to play the ones I have done are;

syberia 1 and 2
broken sword sleeping dragon
still life
atlantis
dreamfall
monkey island 4
broken sword (GBA)
Lost via domus
Secret files Tunguska
CSI (on xbox and ps2)

I am open to suggestions on other systems and I dont mind buying more, I have an R4 for my DS though so ive got a ton for that already.

This may be a stupid question but is there any way of doing anything to consoles so that they will play these games, (similar to the way I can play PC games on my DS with an R4).

thank you.

The ones that I can think of for consoles off the top of my head are:

Broken sword 2 (Ps1, probably works on ps2)
Discworld 1 & 2 (Probably hard to get hold of now, but both are very good games, ps1)
Arc of Time (Ps1)
Riven, Myst (Ps1)
X-files (ps1)
Clock Tower 1, 2 & 3 (Ps1, Ps1, Ps2.)

I think that's about all I can remember...missing otu the ones you've already mentioned, of course

On the wii, you have "Zack & Wiki", "And Then There Were None", "Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law" (also for PS2 and PSP) and soon you'll have "Sam & Max" and "SBCG4AP".

If the nintendo DS also counts, then there are tons of adventures for it.

Arc of Time...I had it on the playstation a long long time ago, and because I was young I couldn't quite figure out the puzzles. I'd like to play it again now. I can't really remember what it was about, something to do with stone henge I think. It was good though from what I remember.

Beyond good & evil, now there's a good game! I couldn't stop playing it when I had it. They should make a sequel.

I didn't realize you wern't just after the general point and click games. If you're also into 'action-based' adventures like Beyond Good & Evil, I might be able to name a few more. Let me know!

In Cold Blood (PS1) SONY

Dracula: The Last Sanctuary and Resurrection (PS1) MICROIDS CRYO

Sentient (PS1) PSYGNOSIS

Necronomicon (PS1) CRYO

Amerzone (PS1) MICROIDS

Tunguska (PS1) TAKE 2 (Not related to Secret Files)

Martian Gothic Unification (PS1) TAKE 2

Aztec (PS1) CRYO

Egypt and Egypt 2 (PS1) CRYO

As you can see, Cryo and Microids ported most of their PC titles to the Playstation, and thanks to the wonders of emulation, I can personally attest to most of them (the PAL versions, anyway) working on the PSP (custom firmware, of course), with minimal tinkering involved.

Most of them are first person, but In Cold Blood, Tunguska, and Martian Gothic Unification are third person.

They're pretty rare for the most part, though. eBay might be your best bet for finding them.

Finding the following PS2 games might be easier:

Glass Rose CAPCOM (Third Person)
Shadow of Memories/Destiny KONAMI (Third Person)
Gregory Horror Show CAPCOM (Third Person)
Echo Night: Beyond NOBILIS (First Person)

Oh, and this is Ark of Time.

Ooh, I'd say there's little chance of that. Unless we're talking about XBox Live or Playstation Network titles, be they re-releases, ports, or otherwise. I certainly doubt we'll see retail adventure releases for either console.

The XBox 360 Controller for Windows could, in theory, be mapped to control adventures on the PC. It would probably take some serious tweaking, though, and probably some third-party software for it to work properly. The Wii controller/bluetooth hack might also work.
