The Syberias to me were like the classic novel that you know you must read because everyone praises it so highly, though you know it will be a slog because the reviews have just not sparked your interest. So while I praised their technical competence, appreciated the hard work that was evident, and could see what others liked about them, they just didn't ring my bell and I quit both at the halfway point, contenting myself that at least I had contributed to keeping adventure gaming alive.

They have an asterisk in my memory as games that I wanted to like and may give another shot sometime to see if a different frame of mind would help.
