Sam & Max Episode 5 review?
Hi guys, where's AG's What's New, Beelzebub review? I'm interested in hearing what you thought of it.
If you're desperately unsure whether to buy it or not and just need a review, here's my one of the episode at the International House of Mojo. I did disagree with AG's Chariots of the Dogs review a little, not quite holding it aloft as the best episode on the grounds that there was basically no story to it and the ultimate goal was just a bit dull. Will the next episode be able to sway this stubborn reviewer's opinion towards a full Five-Skull review? Read and see! Advert over. And now back to our regular programmes! :D |
Sway the reviewers? I don't know about you, but AG reviewed the last episode and gave it one of the best ratings compared to previous episodes.

Sorry, I might not have phrased that very well - when I said "stubborn reviewer" I was referring to me! :)

Ours will be up very shortly.

*Jumps with glee* :D YAY!

Excellent review, as always. And I agree about Season 3. -- I'm not disappointed about the fact that I'll have to wait until next year. I'm looking forward to other (different) games coming from this very talented team of game developers. Season 3 is going to be awesome, though. I know it!

I do agree with that. With more time for planning and development Season 3 could be completely superb and with more locations and characters. The only thing that holds these episodes back from former LucasArts-level greatness is the comparative lack of exploration value, in my opinion.

Can't wait to own this season. I love the idea of collecting game seasons like this. It's just like collecting tv sitcom box-sets but for PC. I reckon they'll definitely get better with each season.
