Unsolved Crimes
This game is developped by a Japanese Company "Now Production"
http://www.gamefaqs.com/features/company/72885.html They have a good experience in developping video games but it seems it's their first try at a murder mystery adventure "The game is set in a stylized 1970s New York and casts players in the role of a young rookie homicide detective, whose main task is to solve the kidnapping case of an aspiring model. Along the way, however, players will also need to solve an additional eight independent cases. Making use of the unique DS features by allowing players to "trace marks, routes and memos on suspicious items discovered at crime scenes", gameplay will consist of traditional criminal investigation such as scouring crime scenes and talking to other characters, along with a variety of logic puzzles. There will also be five "action games" that pertain to the kidnapping storyline, though the nature and extent of these activities have not yet been revealed. Empire has worldwide publishing rights for the game, excluding Asia, and aims to release the game at an unspecified time later this year" Who else here is absolutely attracted by both the premise and the graphical style (more mature and less "cartoonish" than Phoenix Wright and Jake Hunter series) of this one ? Is it me or that one looks absolutely stunning and atmospheric |

It looks great, but I wonder if I'll ever be able to immerse myself in a game played on a small screen.

Call me immature, but I actually prefer the cartoon styles. The screenshots you posted look rather bland to me, to be honest.
