Hype-o-Forum
The question is simple: what is the adventure title you are most expecting? Which title makes your hands sweat with anticipation?
My question rises like a phoenix from the ashes of this thread, so I decided to put at all users this simply question. Here's my personal Top Three: 1) Gray Matter 2) Overclocked 3) Mata Hari

Calypso: i'm afraid not.. however if you search within yourself, then.. Simon: Cut it out, ok? i asked for a hint not the crazy philosophies of a Father Christmas look alike Calypso: Heed my words, bold adventurer, and your path will lead to wisdom and.. Simon: I'm tottaly stuck as what to do Calypso: I'really wish i could help you but i'm just a clueless old fool Simon: never a truer word was spoken also, i want journeyman project 4 monkey island 5, gabriel knight 4, broken sword 5, indiana jones (whatever), toonstruck 2, new sherlock holmes games, new poirot games, full throttle 2, keepsake 2, last express 2, longest journey 3 (APRIL RYAN as the main character!), syberia 3, day of the tentacle - probably best all around adventure game sequel, new monthy python games, phantasmagoria 3, touche 2, and i forgot some sure.. Easy: Gray Matter And I can assure you: Overclocked lives up to the hype and the expectations. I've played the German version - great game with one of the best developed characters I've ever encountered in a game

1) A New Beginning
2) Whispered World 3) Gray Matter Maybe Overclocked at 3 instead, I haven't seen too much about it, though. I really look forward to playing games with good cartoon style graphics again. To be honest, I'm not really up to date with recent and upcoming games, these just caught my eye. Last edited by mtgmaster; 02-26-2008 at 06:11 PM. |

Check out the Hype-O-Meter. It's in the Honorable Mention sector.
http://www.machinarium.com/ PS: But of course I'm looking forward to other games as well. I'll buy at least 9 new adventures this year. If and when they are released... Last edited by Fien; 02-27-2008 at 05:45 AM. |

Most of the games I'm looking forward to look a long way from release, unfortunately. I'll definitely pick up Sam & Max: Season 2 when it's released on CD, and A Vampyre Story is looking good despite the lack of recent updates. Other games that intrigue me are Simon the Sorceror 4, Mozart and Theseis, though again, I haven't heard anything much about any of those games recently.

I didn't hear anything about "Mozart"... What's that about?

Judging the page here at AGs, we don't have a lot of information about the game, but the screenshots surely seem interesting, although I'm not too fond of adventures with historical settings (mainly 'cause I tend to notice every mistake )

The fact that I detect but minute quantities of perspiration on my upper extremities does not mean I am not looking forward to Gray Matter a great deal. Mata Hari also has noteworthy credentials. And since the question was phrased in such a manner as to permit a chronologically challenged choice, I am looking forward to replaying The Colonel's Bequest.
