Default Phoenix Wright Trials and Tribulations

Is this game only released in the US and Japan? They release all games in the series here (Apollo Justice is set to come out in March) but not the third game? WTF!

It's not out in Europe yet. Dale was just saying the same thing in another thread. I'm not sure why or what the release date will be.

That's really weird. My first thought was that the first two games for some reason didn't sell so well in Europe, but since Apollo Justice will be released here this sure is a mystery.

Man, hows that fair.

Even Mars is getting games before us now. Wouldn't the Martian translation take longer than the English one?

Just as well the DS isn't region coded so you can get the US or Jap versions easily enough.

I think either he meant march, or he's french, in which case, it means March. xD

Yeah this ticked me off big time, I'd finished Justice for all in time for christmas so I could treat myself and its like HOMG, you couldnt find it anywhere..

The DS isnt region specific I dont think, so.. you could always import it?

I've imported it months ago and it works great. Trials & Tribulations is a highlight in the series, absolutely terrific story.

Ha ha ha, that was one hell of a spelling error on my part. Not a french one though. I blame it on the fact that I wrote it in the middle of the night.

The translation is fine then? I heard the English text on the Japanese version was a bit iffy and was going to be improved for the European release... Unfounded rumour?

I'm guessing he bought the American version. Or is it the same? But it will be released in Europe eventually then?

I bought the Japanese version, but the reports about spelling errors are monstrously exaggerated. I've encountered no more than a handful, in a game that's all about dialogue. I honestly don't know how this story got so much wind. Justice For All (Japanese version) also had a few typos, but they bother me no more than the occasional typo in any book. Do not let this be the only thing standing in the way of importing the Japanese version.

Loved this game. Fantastic way to end the chapter. Can't wait for Apollo!

Why not Next Stop Dvdboxoffice.com? North American release, free shipping to Europe and you'll get a manual not only in in English but also in French.

My guess is that the translation hasn't been corrected since the Japanese release though. There ARE five or six slight spelling errors (so far; I think I'm near the end). But it's a superb game nevertheless. Maybe the best in the series so far.

I hadn't thought about importing from the US, but it's one to consider I suppose. I'll see which one is more expensive...

(though I'm living in France I'm not actually from here, so I'm not especially fussed about a French manual)

It's a well known fact/ rule/ tradition that games on Nintendo get released in Europe exclusively at least 6 months after the rest of the world gets it.

It's the law

That could sadly enough be the case. But why does that rule apply only to the third game and not the other four?

Wait, Japanese PW releases have English texts? I didn't know that!

Trials and Tribulations, yes... but Apollo Justice has not yet been translated as far as I know. So don't go blindly buying stuff before you make double sure it says English.

Well, I'd assume it has been translated now, since it's out for release in North America very shortly. But yeah, the Japanese release of Apollo Justice doesn't contain the English language switch like the other three DS titles in the series.
