We'd all like to know.

Maybe we'll hear something on December 31, 2009, just before midnight.

point taken ^

I wouldn´t see it that dramatically. I expect to hear some good news during the summer period, or in early autumn.

So what will we be doing in the meantime?

Waiting for Gabriel Knight 4?

QDream 06-06-2008 01:29 PM

waiting for Still Life 2.. :P

Gk4 and SL2 please. Plus, none of the GK games can beat the epic proportions of Sins of the Fathers. I want that remade......oh my, licensing time. I need to contact Jane after the first chapter of the Journeyman Chronicles is finished.

I've read that Wizarbox will be at the Leipzig Game Convention, which take place from August 20th to August 24th...

... So this may be the time when we finally can see some news, some development, some new pics etc. etc.

Fingers crossed and high hopes :D

Kazmajik 07-26-2008 07:41 AM

This is great news! I'm really looking forward to Adventure Gamers coverage of this event. The last few years have produced some excellent articles and photos, and I'm especially eager for information from this year's GC, and maybe at last we'll finally get some idea of how Gray Matter is coming along.

AndreaDraco83 07-26-2008 08:16 AM

I agree. I'm heavily looking forward the Adventure Gamers coverage.

But, even if there are some great new games that I'm expecting (Mata Hari, A Vampyre Story), none of them challenges the expectations I've got toward Gray Matter.

If this time we don't get to see anything promising, it will be such a huge letdown!

The official site was updated with eleven artworks.

Finally, a vital sign! :D

They are amazing, particularly the sepia ones which have a spooky, gloomy mood about them that bewitch me!

Now I'm even more intrigued :9~

Kazmajik 09-15-2008 06:17 AM

YES!!!!

Finally! Thank you!

AndreaDraco83 09-15-2008 06:27 AM

There is even a Jane's blog in the main page! I just read it and left a comment: men, it was great to hear directly from her!

Anyway, I think that we have at least to say thanks also to Nico and to his efforts in the past few days: he really deserves it.

He sure does and the artwork looks great. Me like it a lot. :)

I've just read Santi's post on CORT-X... there's also a new trailer!

First the bad things: the characters still move strangely and I can't understand a single word of the German text.

The good things: all the rest. The unnerving music (even if I don't think it's Robert Holmes), David Styles, the new location showed (awesome, very detailed), the lighting effects... pretty much everything! :D

What a day!

Henke 09-15-2008 05:26 PM

Woohoo! The game is really alive and kicking!

Kazmajik 09-15-2008 05:49 PM

I was just hoping for some kind of confirmation, an official word or two about the game, but this has been tremendous! Much more than I expected, that's for sure. I don't think any of us who have been following the game are surprised that they lost some months of development when they changed dev teams. It's unfortunate, but understandable. Tonuzaba may go down in history as the Pete Best of game developers.

I'm just thrilled that Jane has a blog about the game started, and while I don't expect very frequent updates, one can always be surprised. At any rate, it's another source of information to check out.

And Cort-X is back up and running!

Easy there. Let's calm down a bit. A screenshot or two doesn't equate to a game in production any more that a storyboard frame equates with a movie in production. Either could collapse at any time for any reason.

Until somebody actually says the game is in production, the game is not in production. At least that's going to be my take on the situation until somebody tells me otherwise.
