Default What series do you want to conclude ?

There are many series out there that have not been fully finished. Which of these games do you want to see a conclusion to ?

The series that I wish to finally see the ending of are... Number 1 is Shenmue. 2 is Still life. At 3 is Dreamfall. 4 is Oddworld. And 5 is Syberia, just to see what happens with Kate.

Since I don't accept QFG5 as a true conclusion to the series, I'm going with Sierra's Quest for Glory.

Of course you would, but then I have not been able to finish QfG5 myself. I keep loosing interest before I can get anywhere with the game. It doesn't need to be the same hero, or even in Glorianna, but would love to see another similar series form the Coles. To have another game of the caliber and style of QfG4 with modern graphics and digital sound... wow, what a game that would be.

I dont think ag's should have endings, its always nice to think that more should be made. I really wish they'd make a new Monkey island game, just to prove to us that the really silly 4th one in 3D (Shudder) isnt the end. I mean I love the fourth one, but I think ALMOST everyone prefers the third.. besides that.. I just want more laughs. BARKEEP, MORE GROG!

A new Tex Murphy game, hopefully concluding the story to which it hinted at in the end of Overseer and expanded with the radio-theatre episodes.

Then there is Loom which is wonderfully wrapped up the way it is, in my opinion, but I wouldn't mind getting a new adventure crewed with familiar faces from its universe.

Also, finding out what happens next in the Dreamfall series would be nice, indeed. But it seems that this one needs no further encouragment and temple offerings since it is already underway, no?

No ... it's all just talk at the moment.

While I have always been more of a Gabriel Knight fan than what is considered healthy , I must have a Dreamfall conclusion before anything else.

Maybe because the pain of the cliffhanger is more fresh. Or because I found Dreamfall to be beautiful, but incomplete.

All the GK games were full, long, and satisfying. Cat hair on tape or not.

I hope these 'talks' for DF Chapters lead to something soon.

Default Good Stories - No Endings

It seems to be a curse for games with great stories that aren't quite mainstream - no ending. For Adventure Games, it's Still Life. For action, its the Legacy of Kain series (no doubt supplanted by further Tomb Raider games), and for fps, Clive Barker's Undying. Granted games with good stories survive more in the AG genre than others, all are sadly at the mercy of profits and marketing.

Default Gabriel Knight

I NEED a conclusion to the Gabriel Knight series. I to am overly obsessed w/ the Gabriel Knight games. I've played each of them several times and have plans to play them again. I also own both Sins of the Fathers and Beast Within paperback novels. I am currently reading the Beast Within. Please Vivendi sell the rights or give us a new game!! PLEASE!!

Syberia 3 would be cool for me.

Plus, i would want to play Broken Sword 3 - in 2D, since i really don't like 3d adventures.

Waiting: Secret Files 2!

I thought the ending for Undying was OK. You've resolved the mystery that you were first presented with at the start. There was a hint at sequels along similar lines in the closing cinematic but I don't feel anything was really left unresolved.

Oh yes, please! Zork Dalboz and Zork Ygael would be great, thank you Activision.

On my wish list: Tex Murphy 6 (cliffhangers are EVIL) and of course The Thirteenth Tribe by Jordan Mechner, featuring Robert Cath in Israel, Toonstruck II and a new Klaymen adventure.

Sigh...

I want George Stobbart to be killed and killed again in a final Broken Sword so I know there will never be another. The series has just past its sell by date.

Still Life and Shenmue would be great. Another Myst games (pre-rendered, NOT 3D like URU or Myst V) would always be great.

As far as FPS's go, I Love Halo (even offline) and would love to see how it all ends !!! It's just I spend my money on the Wii. So to find out I'd have to save up money for the 360 I hate that, when a series starts on one console and ends on another. The prime example is Shenmue. If it does come out the poor series would have been on 3 consoles
