Default Machinarium

Am I the only one who is excited about this game? The Samorost-games were great. Anyone know if this game will be sold online or in stores?

Ooo,Ooo! Me, me, me!

I think it sounds cool so far. I think it's early days on the development so sales details aren't really known yet. When we know more details, we'll let you know as well.

I'm super excited. Samorost 1 and 2 were awesome games.

Welcome to AG!

Amanita has a delightful free game, Samorost and the very inexpensive sequel, Samorost 2.

Thanks, Melanie. I'm checking out all their(?) stuff.

That BAFTA (kids education) nominated/winning thing was nice.

This Machinarium adventure could turn out to be great on the level of "The Last Express", "Grim Fandango" & "Starship Titanic"... the style is definitely going to be there; I hope the depth and breadth is too.

Holy cow! Yeah! Been waiting this since seeing some pictures of it. Sheesh! People should make more of these kind of adventure games.

A new trailer was released today: http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2009...arium-footage/

The game is looking really good, can't wait to play it.

The game looks great but the UI looks horrible imo.

Nice cover, although the colour scheme's a bit dull.

Loved Samorost. I apply those games a lot into my game designs.

Machinarium looks amazing. The HD quality in visuals really brings their style to a whole new level. Can't wait for it.

I love those character designs. Quite cute.

In Germany and Russia, yes. Don't know about N.America, maybe later?
Samorost 2 also had a boxed retail version in Russia.

Only 3 more weeks of waiting! Machinarium will be released on the 15th.

PS: The price at the German Amazon is 29.99 Euros! That's... eh... over 44 American dollars. More than TWICE as much as the downloadable version, which I pre-ordered for 17 dollars.

I noticed this game earlier this week and it looks great. Will it be sold in stores in North America? I don't like downloading games.
