I think it was due to financial issues. The developer got a job with a company, too I think. It's been a while so I can't remember precisely. You can still get the demo at Gamershell and I think this site hosts it, but I remember it was really slow, so best to get it from GH if they still host it. I play it from time to time, and it's made with Wintermute Engine: http://dead-code.org/

They tried to get funding/publisher but were unsuccesful. The developers are a media company now doing lots of web and Flash game stuff. Joe is still in their portfolio: http://www.stickystudios.com/read/portfolio/scumbag-joe

Its a big shame that one promising looking title now been packed and might will not see the day light like some previously renouned games.
1.) Hollywood Monsters (English Version) 2.) Full Throttle 2 3.) Boyz Don't Cry (English Version) Open up your eyes Publishers and start noticing such good games |

That was not a promising title.
I don't know about those other two games, but everything I saw of Full Throttle 2 pointed towards it being an unworthy successor and a bad game in general. Last edited by Marek; 07-28-2007 at 02:18 PM. |

I would love to play an english version of Hollywood Monsters. It's a beautiful game.

I meant Full Throttle: Hell on Wheels.
Payback was never known to the public until former LucasArts employee(s) leaked information about it and posted concept art in their personal portfolios. Judging from the stuff I've seen, Payback had a somewhat better vision behind it. It's a shame. |
