Anyone heard anything about Still life 2??I was really impressed with Still life but the ending...:pan: aaaaghhh...but on the other side i was sure that Still 2 is out very soon,but.....

A sequel to Still Life is not planned, and the chances of it are extremely minimal, since Microids as it was no longer exists.

And that sucks.

I really hope they will make another part too, the game was one of the best adventure games out there!
I wrote DreamCatcher's tech support about it, here is their response:

"I have no specific information regarding a sequel to this game at the time. I have been informed that there is interest in a Still Life 2, but I haven’t seen evidence of any work being done on such a project. Perhaps there will be good news in the future."

Well thats better news than nothing!

DreamCatcher have no ties to the Still Life IP though, so even if they could tell you anything positive, it wouldn't hold any water. They may have published the game, but that's all.

got my hopes up just to be dashed at the next turn :\ Still Life was such a great game it's a shame it probably won't go on :frusty:

So many people opened this kind of thread and nothing at all...

Still Life 2 is a virtual impossibility at this point, unless a group of fans makes one. If so, I hope they fix all the plot holes from the first one.

Well, it certainly doesn't hurt to email DreamCatcher asking nicely for a sequel :) Most likely it'll only make it 0,00001% more possible for them to make one instead of the opposite.

Still Life is probably the best true" adventure game I've played in a long time (Meaning not a hybrid of action/adventure or anything like that)... Shame it's not going to see a sequel...

In my books Still Life and Moment Of Silence are the best games released in a long while. Which makes me even more excited about Overlocked :z

Yeah, but as I said, DreamCatcher don't own the IP. It's not their decision to make.

Still Life 2 is being made as we speak and scheduled for release november this year.
Its Gamego Studios (part of Game Consulting) that is making it.

In Fall 2008, Agent McPherson is sent to Maine where Audrey Dunnigan's body has just been found. The modus operandi and the video sent to the police and press leave them in no doubt as to the killer's identity: the East Coast Torturer has struck again! No clues are picked up during the autopsy, as the serial killer painstakingly washed the body. Once again, the killer has not committed any errors.

From her motel room, McPherson comes across a report by Paloma Hernandez, the journalist covering all the crimes bearing the East Coast Torturer's signature. Hernandez has been highly critical of the FBI's and McPherson's lack of progress. That does not stop Hernandez from phoning and asking McPherson to meet her later that evening. Hernandez claims to have some so-called clues on the killer in her possession. McPherson flatly refuses. Just moments later, Hernandez is kidnapped by the Tortur...

Still Life 2 remains true to the spirit of its first installment and continues to allow gamers to play and manage two characters bound by the same fate. This time, the aim is for gamers to control two heroines, see the game from two complementary viewpoints and experience two different gameplays. Depending on whether they are playing the victim (Paloma Hernandez) being hunted by the killer or the FBI agent (Victoria McPherson) tracking him down, gamers can alternate between survival and investigation.
