Default New old games.

Hi I'm new here,

I just got hold of 4 games I havnt played before:
Touche
Gabriel Knight 1
Kings Quest 6
Star Trek Anniversary

What game would you recommend I should try first?

In these series I've only played Gabriel Knight 2 & 3 and Kings Quest 7.

Thx

I haven't played Touche... But the other three are all amazing games. It's a tough decision which one to play first.

Gabriel Knight 1 is very much like its sequels, so if you liked those, play it. King's Quest 6, on the other hand, is VERY different than KQ7. Number 6 was co-written by Jane Jensen (The one who wrote the Gabriel Knight games) and is a much darker, yet much more rewarding play than all the other King's Quests. If you like serious fantasy adventure (Not overly funny/cute/kiddie), than KQ6 is the game to play.

And if you adore Star Trek as much as me, especially TOS, 25th Anniversary should be the first game to play on your list. It's divided up into missions, very much like self-contained episodes, and if you've got the CD version with all the original cast members on it, it feels like you're playing some mystical "lost season 4" of the show.

Touche I've heard is quite good. If you're sick of my gushing, play that one first.

I tried GK1 in both, WinXP and DOSbox, it works fine for both, but it looks better in DOSbox.

I've played Touché and in my opinion it's just as great as the other three.

Leave GK1 to last, it's the one you will enjoy the most.

KQ6 and GK1 are some of my favorite adventure games of all time. I envy your impending first-time experience with them.

And by the way, nice Twilight Zone reference. Care for a cup of Instant Smile?
