Yes, definitely.
(Come to think of it, the game had a really great plot; it's just that the gameplay was horrendous. With a bit more linearity, and regular "check-points" (like the time-blocks in GK3), it could have worked very well. That White Birds might be thinking of reviving this horrible style of gameplay for Sinking Island has me worried...)
