Great! Glad you liked it. It's pretty dead around here, so I was starting to wonder if everyone (besides those that posted here, of course) hated it, got hopelessly stuck, or just wasn't playing it. But SURELY the latter couldn't be true.

Yeah, the first instalment generated much more feedback, didn't it?

It was very cool, I liked it! Thanks to everyone who worked on it. I got stuck a bit, maybe I had my brain on backwards...but now my brain is smoking because I got Atlantis III for xmas, and it's proving fairly difficult....

What happend to the days when sequels were more expensive, shorter and EASIER than the first game(s)?!

Seriously, a great game. Remarkably complex, charming and funny.

Thanks, Martin! (For the compliment, I mean, not for getting stuck even after my great hints.)

It's a weird feeling seeing people get stuck in the game. On the one hand, it was meant to be reasonably challenging, so it'd be disappointing if people were able to simply breeze through. On the other hand, I personally find that being stuck in a game blows major chunks, so I hate seeing it happen to others. But then back on the first hand, being stuck means trying more things, and that leads to finding out just how deep the dialogue goes, so I guess it's okay.

But there you have it. All those people complaining about Sam & Max and other games being too easy, you can get stuck in CQ2!

Actually, I'd be curious to know from those that have finished how long it took to get through the game.

Well, I certainly wasn't nearly as stuck as in, uh, 1993, when I couldn't find the damn light switch for the ship in Myst, and had no internet! THAT was being stuck.

Today, when I can't solve a puzzle in less than three minutes, I immediately look for a way to set the difficulty level to "Movie" in the settings panel, and if the option isn't there, I post long rants about illogical puzzle design on random gaming forums!

I think you did an excellent job designing the game in a non-linear/multi-linear way. When I got stuck, I could move on to other things for a while, which is a great thing, and one of the game's real strenghts.

It's hard to judge on time - you know how many times I got stuck! Maybe 3-4 hours?!
