Happy Friday Everyone
This game had rockin credits, and I feel it's one of the games that got less than what it deserved. And #2 Cancelled

This is my second least favorite LA game (first one is Maniac Mansion). There was too little to fiddle with in this game. Too few things to do. When I got stuck it quickly became boring.

Is that the end of Day of the Tentacle? I really enjoyed that one a lot - and it was intriguing and offbeat enough to get my wife's attention, and she is NOT a gamer, by any means. DOTT, Grim Fandango and TLJ are the only ones she's found interesting enough to sit through with me.

It's true, there wasn't much to do in Full Throttle, but I still really like the game.

I was never stuck in this one, so I guess thats why its one of my all time favorites. Some of the best music and voice acting ever...better than some hollywood movies, mostly because everything fit. And I really enjoyed the art style.

Good, but lacking. I've played this game through twice and can't remember a single thing from it. Not a good sign.

Not a good sign of your memory. Full Throttle may not be perfect, but I think the character of the game is it's strongest point. Plenty of things to remember here.

It Rocked!
Full Throttle Rocked. Played it twice. Loved every minute. LA never made bad games back then... Can't say the same now.

The biker haiku (bike-ku??? ) contributed by the staff was another fun element to the end credits. The game kicks butt, as does the Gone Jackals' soundtrack!

I've got the Gone Jackals soundtrack. Well this album whcih has those songs on it.
There were always odd tidbits like this in the closing LA credits. How many other games do you know with thanks to cats?

Must've played the game at least 4 or 5 times now over the years, without a doubt the best introduction (even moreso for the period!!) and most adrenaline filled adventure game, especially towards its thrilling conclusion! Saying that, if you really dont like heavy rock you'll probably hate it! |

Dang... it reminds me of the final screens of DOTT - where the tentacle raises the flag, or whatever... it's been a while... clearly
I got Full Throttle as part of some LucasArts multi-game pack, along with The Dig, some Star Wars FPS that was quite good for the time, and at least two other games. I really enjoyed it, except for the endlessly frustrating highway battles. GREAT atmosphere and mood, though. Very gritty. |

I'd say hard rock/soft metal was the most appropriate label (if such things help.) Can't really match it to any of the bands you named Hammerite but that's mainly because I'm not sure what half of them sound like. If you've played the game then Legacy (the opening theme) is probably a good one to use a base line of whether you'll like it or not. < Oh, and I'm in the UK as well Jobabob.
