EDIT: Holy crap they have given Gametap a significant facelift. The welcome screen and options look totally different. And on Gametap TV you now have a progress bar!
A big thing that I didn't notice at first: they've added quick saves! This is especially useful for arcade games that don't have in-engine saves. (doesn't affect windows games like Sam & Max though)

Still no download manager though. I would love to be able to pause downloads half way through and continue them later.

Also it's not just the devs that benefit. I benefit too, because it means I actually get to play new Sam & Max adventures.
I was speaking more about Bone than S&M. And last I checked 6 moths ago they all estimated they would release the episodes at roughly the same price as Bone. Sorry, I dont have the time to hang on every word printed on nothing but the internet with a successfull career, friends and family.

I don't mean to specifically take issue with Blondebeard here, but it perplexes me to see those against episodic gaming constantly making reference to a world in which the average game seems to last 20-40 hours. Most full-length games I've played in the last five years or so I've probably been lucky to get 10.

Playing the mature card huh?
We're talking about a Sam & Max game...

Listen, don't F'ing pretend like you have draw out an explanation in stick figures. I am well educated and successfull. I'm sorry I don't live and die with every word Telltale leaks out. Show a little tact or expect a tactless response.

In similar vein, do a minimal research before going on a rant (for example, the price of a single Sam and Max episode was mentioned in this very thread before you posted in it) or expect your fair share of being made fun of (none of which was as condescending as your reply to xChri5x).

And now I'd like this off-topic quarrel to end. Thanks.

In my defense, my initial post was neither a rant, nor in poor taste. It was simply my view in a discussion. If we are not supposed to have differing views on a message board then there is not debate. If there is to be no debate then we might as well be lemmings and adopt the popular opinion as our own. This is exactly where the expression "message board nazi" came from. You have to either agree or face consequences.

If this is the way it is here now, please let me know in advance so I can walk away.

Nobody is trying to quash your opinions, we just ask that you do so politely and with at least a semblance of maturity (which does not include cracks about others' ages, for example).
