Default Simon Sorcerer 1, 2, 3 + puzzle.

I went into PC world and found that they stock simon sorcerer 1-3 plus the puzzle games, I could get them all sealed and know for 20 quid, would that be a good deal?

I didnt realize this game was still actually stocked in major stores.

The games are still sold by Adventure Soft, so there's bound to be quite a few copies floating around, especially in the UK; so you might find them even cheaper if you take the time to look (that's just a guess though).

(and the re-releases are just the CDs in a box; don't expect a printed manual or anything)

Anyway, Simon 1&2 are lots of fun, if somewhat hard (I haven't played #3 yet), and the puzzle pack is actually a nice diversion (note that it currently only works on Win 9x, but it will be supported in ScummVM at some point in the future).

Actually, Adventure Soft signed a deal with Idigicon (or somesuch company) to distribute the things in the UK, which is why they're reasonably commonplace at the moment. They're all in DVD cases, though I doubt that there's any sort of manual.

I didn't mind Simon 3D, though a lot of people probably wouldn't like it. The first two are worth playing, though (if a tad illogical in places).

That does seem pretty expensive. I've got the DVD cased versions (there's no manual with them), I think I paid about £1.99 each for them. Can't remember where, it was over a year ago.

There's loads on ebay, some for less that £1.

I really like Simon 1 & 2 and I think it's a bargain even if you should be able to get them cheaper if you look hard enough.
It's like Monkey Island, but with a Monty Python kind of humour...
