A new game for my mood
I've been stressed out with things in life lately, and now I'm looking for some game to relax with. I'd prefer something not about action or anything dark. It can have some drama to it, though, it doesn't have to be all about humor. Something newer is preferred.
I'll try to list the games I've played: Monkey Island 1,2,3,4 Grim Fandango Day of the Tentacle King's Quest 5,6,7 Space Quest 4 Quest for Glory 1,2,3,4 Syberia 1,2 The Longest Journey Myst Riven Return to Mysterious Island Sam & Max Full Throttle The Dig |

Try Ankh. It was good fun if a bit short.

Voyage is fun, and lighthearted. Especially recommended if you enjoyed Return to Mysterious Island.

I agree, Voyage is a great game, with a wacky underlying humor. I highly recommend it.
You might like the Bone games. And of course the new Sam & Max episodes, but those aren't out yet. Also, since you haven't played the earlier King's Quest games, you might try the remakes of KQ1 and 2 by AGD Interactive. KQ1 is a straight remake; KQ2 has an expanded storyline and it's really a lot of fun. It rivals a lot of commercial adventures, IMO. (And both remakes are free!) Al Emmo, made by the same people (but a commercial game) is supposed to be coming out any minute now, and it's lots of fun (and funny!) as well. |
