Well, Ravel's Bolero may have been used in lots of games, but FF7's not the one I'm looking for since (1) it's an RPG and (2) I doubt it has the "old record" sound used in my version.

Nah, saying the credits is just cheating. And the full extract doesn't appear in them anyway. So look harder (and two tracks earlier).
Looking on the game official website, that would be "The Road Back" then.

But in the original soundtrack audio cd released by Funcom there is no such track. If I checked correctly the same music is contained in two tracks: "End Credits" (part of it) and "The Longest Journey Suite"

Oh, I had forgotten they even made a soundtrack CD. Kind of an odd idea when the soundtrack was available for free on the Internet. I remember downloading the soundtrack when the game was released; took ages at the time (before broadband).

Track #5... could it be Fifi's Victrola music (Bolero) from The Colonel's Bequest?

I find these mixes to be very impressive.

Could #14 be LSL7, the country-singing-duo?

Also, could we have a hint to #21, please?

Based on the clues alone, I would say that #13 (abduction+remembered) is In Memoriam, and #22 (putting heads in order) is Zork Nemesis...

Alright, after giving it another good listen all I could come up with is that The Sherlock Holmes thing bring images of driving to my mind, but I don't know if it's the music of the actual map screen.. it sounds too high-tension to be that, but it's all I've got.

and just a girl with undies pretty much has to be the longest journey.. although I that track still seems like a dreamfall track to me, I can't remember it from journey...

Driving? No. Diving, on the other hand...

Neither Dreamfall nor TLJ, I'm afraid.

What, the scene of holmes chasing that guy who was the father of that kid outside the mansion to see him jump into the river?

Can't think of any other game with a girl and underwear... I'm lost

Yup, Lord Brumwell.

Well, I'll be giving the answers for the five remaining ones today, so you won't be losing sleep over that one (last hint for #28: the word "girl" is the song's, not mine).

OK, I guess it's time to end this. You recognised 25/30, which is rather good.

And the missing ones:

#11 was Fatima's dance in Jerusalem, from Conquests of Camelot.

#13 is the music that plays during the introduction of Martian Memorandum.

#21 was the haunting space/time-travel sequence from Future Wars.

#22 is in the spirit world in Aura.

#28, finally, was not from Dreamfall, but from Fahrenheit. It's the beginning of Sandpaper Kisses by Martina Topley-Bird, which plays in Carla's flat while she's trying to piece clues together (and getting her future read).

And that's it! That'll be the last one from me (for a while, at least), so I hope somebody else will continue.
