I don't know where it's from, but it sure is pretty.
May we have a hint?

Well... The music itself is the biggest hint. It's set in a country that it sounds like, known for the instrument playing the arpeggio at the end.

If the instrument in question is Lyre, then the country is Greece... and it might be Quest for Glory 5?

Is QFG5 set in Greece? I didn't know Greece had talking cats and dragons..
But no, not that country.

It might be a lyre, I thought it was just a guitar. I'm giving far too much away

Greece as in "Ancient Greece", and yeah, Silmaria is pretty much Greece-like

But if it's guitar, i'm guessing Spain, and maybe Broken Sword 1?

Correct. Your turn (we'll bypass the location - it's from the intro: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otdYMsnYBME)

Sweet. Is there anyway to listen to the soundtrack other than buying the game? Youtube is not much help.

Here is the new one.

(This quiz made me realize that I need to organize my music folders)

Shany, the link doesn't seem to work for me (goes to a page that says "Upload not found").

That was going to be one of those that I know I've played but can't place — and then the final couple of seconds made it clear that it was Voyage. I'm going to guess it's the main menu.

Correct!
The file name says Main Theme, so I guess it's from the main menu, yes.

Looking through my library, it seems it's actually used for the credits. Close enough.

New one! It's easy, so I definitely want the location.

Easy? I don't think so..

Reminds me of the Twin Peaks opening theme.

It's a sweet tune... i think i played the game but can't really remember it. But the music is now stuck in my head that i had to ruin the song jam along it with my guitar.

Btw, is it a coincidence that Badalamenti composed the music both for Twin Peaks and Fahreinheit? What the heck, it's worth a shot - is it Fahreinheit?

Based on your posts on the forums, you've definitely played it. And based once again on forum posts, you might be the only one among the usual suspects in that situation (shame on the others!), so everyone's counting on you.

That's nice! I kinda wish I could play an instrument of some sort.

Not Fahrenheit. I wish I had been clever enough to think of the Twin Peaks similarity when naming the file, but it's just a coincidence (I think I was just vaguely thinking of Lucas playing the guitar at some point).

More from the same game, almost from the same location.
