I played this game some time ago so may be I forgot something but I don't remember controls being much of a problem. The action scenes were sometimes annoying, that's true. Ok, most of the time. I am not fan of action, but there wasn't many of them. and some puzzles were just awesome.

I was wondering, was there a version of Simon the Sorcerer 1 CD with English subtitles? I have an English copy and a multilingual copy, the English copy is speech-only, no subtitles, and the multilingual copy contains English speech and subtitles in various languages (not English though).
Was it ever released?

No way, they looked cartoonish. These ones looks like they were taken from some stupid Harry Potter game.. Why this realism, those human-like models?

Looks a lot like the graphics in Simon 1, but in a higher resolution.

So far this game looks promising and i can't wait until it comes out. Definately a huge improvement over Simon 3D. There's new screenshots on the official Simon 4 website.

They looked like made of poligons. This one is at least smooth. Screens of Simon 2d game that never came out looked cartoonish.

At least Alix doesn't look ugly.

I agree with everybody who says this game looks good. So much a improvement over Simon 3d. I hope they have trees and stones with "faces" like the first game.

Yeah, the art style in the first game r00ld.
Spoiler:
I never did understand though why Sordid was a old man instead of the fanged monster on the box art. I also don't understand how he suddenly became the fanged monster in the sequel...

Spoiler:
Wasn't the fanged monster just a monster suit? Simon got stuck in it at the end of the second game

Some of you hardcore oldschoolers may feel the need to dump your systems, regardless if ScummVM runs just fine. The system requirements have been announced today:

Minimum: 2Ghz CPU, 512 megs of RAM, 64 MB video card
Recommended: 2,8 Ghz CPU, 1 gig of RAM, 128 MB video card

Pretty steep for mostly pre-rendered stuff me thinks, but then, machines on that level are already quite a few years old.

I didn't hear anything about this game for awhile, any news on the English version? I see it got an English name (Simon the Sorcerer: Chaos Happens), but will it actually be available in English?
