Support Al Emmo with these Complimentary Banners!
Hi guys!
We are gearing up to release the Al Emmo demo later in the week. We are also getting ready to release the official "Al Emmo and the Lost Dutchman's Mine website"! We have several banners promoting the game, and if you'd like to show your support, I'd appreciate it if you could add a banner to your website, blog, myspace account, signature or any other online presence you have. If you know of anyone else who enjoys classic style adventure games, please pass these banners on to them as well. Have fun with them! http://www.himalayastudios.com/image..._120x240_2.gif http://www.himalayastudios.com/image..._160x600_1.gif http://www.himalayastudios.com/image..._160x600_2.gif http://www.himalayastudios.com/image..._160x600_3.gif http://www.himalayastudios.com/image...o_392x72_1.gif http://www.himalayastudios.com/image...o_392x72_2.gif http://www.himalayastudios.com/image...o_392x72_3.gif http://www.himalayastudios.com/image...o_392x72_4.gif http://www.himalayastudios.com/image...o_392x72_5.gif http://www.himalayastudios.com/image...o_468x60_1.gif http://www.himalayastudios.com/image...o_468x60_2.gif http://www.himalayastudios.com/image...o_468x60_3.gif http://www.himalayastudios.com/image..._120x240_1.gif Please link them directly to: http://www.alemmo.com (the page is currently under construction, but the site will be there later in the week. If you bookmark the page, you'll eventually get the full Al Emmo site) Thanks! |

The site tells me nothing, of course. What is this "Al Emmo" of which you speak?

Okay, I read the first preview. None of it sounds particularly amazing, but I guess if all you want is the Sierra style, it could be enough.

Most people are excited because these guys brought us 2 amazing remakes that rival the old classics, KQ1 & 2. Top notch quality. This looks quite good.

Okay- what does define this game? You've said it's a western- I got that. But that's not exactly unique in itself. What's the story about?

I'm interested??
No "Aurebesh" in the credits (but only 'proper names' there'), nor on the special 'beta-testers-only' Forum where pretty well all the testers used nicknames!! |

Amongst MANY magnificent features (too many to list here), the voice acting and lip synching of the large number of characters is superb. It's years since I've encountered such a high standard.
In addition, this large number of varied 'NPC's are not just cardboard cutouts who are there just to serve as foils for the (anti-)hero. They are all living, breathing individuals who actively participate in the game, and who you identify with!! |
