Here are new screenshots so they must be working on it.
With the exception of the shot with the horse in the background, the rest of the screenshots look like stuff I've seen in their demo at the 2005 e3. A pity, the game looked like sex.

Sex when it's good, mind you.

Well, I sent the guys over at Team Tarsier an e-mail, and they just say what we all know, really; that the game is not signed yet, and that they`re still in discussion with publishers, and that they don`t want to rush things.

I hope some publisher will open their eyes and take a risk so that this game will see daylight.

Too sad! Please, please, I pray some company to agree to publish it.

Right, like there was no risk in publishing Beyond Good & Evil, Rez, Psychonauts and Ico. All fantastic, only a fool couldn't see.

The developer's website is under construction, so perhaps some new Metronome info will become available before too long. They've already missed the relaunch deadline.

I believe "2006-10-26" is the day they took the site down, not the planned relaunch date.

I think they will try to release it as a XBox title. Some screenshots:

Straight from the developers a mere two days ago:

"Still alive and kicking but unsigned and unfunded."

Really, people need to consider Metronome a NON-project until an announcement is made to the contrary. If they get funding and begin full-time production, you can be sure it'll be big news.

I know and it also says the new site will be ready in a couple of weeks. That's the middle of November. Like anything else, there is probably a nice delay.

Default Metronome lives!

Don't know where to post this, but since I rarely visit the Adventure section anymore...

The City of Metronome website has been updated and we can expect a new trailer soon!!! Hoping for an Xbox 360 release (which is probable, since they quote Xbox Official Magazine).

Team Tarsier Tarsier Studios is apparently also working on a first-person shooter called Desert Diner.

Goody. We'll wait for some official announcement confirming this.

I took it as an invitation to move it here.

Fingers crossed, most definitely...

Oh wow, what the hell is this. Desert Diner? Shooting cars? And the only few things worth mentioning on their index site were "spectacular destruction" and "advanced cloth simulation"? Now this does look like a "we need money"-project.

More like a "we have money" project, since it uses Ageia PhysX. But it might be just a short demo game in the vein of Cell Factor: Combat Training.

EDIT: Indeed, apparently it's based on Cell Factor: Revolution.

Found what looks like a new Metronome screenshot on their website.

This project sounds so interesting. Why is it being put on hold again?

http://www.primotechnology.com/2009/...troubled-past/

Better yet... why aren't there any European publishers interested in such a game? Ahhh if only they'd more of a demo out and I wish more renowned publishers would take an interest in games like these. :p

Game looks so good, not to sure about using sound as a weapon though. On wikipedia thought it says the games has been cancelled.

Well, the report I posted is new and it sounds fairly accurate. Huh? Cancelled, where? It just says "uncertain" which is nowhere near cancelled.
