Default Adventure Game Scene of The Day - Tuesday June 6 2006

Just picked this one's enhanced CD version a few days a go, hadn't even known it existed! and man is it cool for Trek fans, the spoken dialogue is awesome and it was really cool that they got all the original cast. of course, it's a great game in it's own right.

P.S.

I initially wanted to post a game relating to today's date, thought of either Faust or Diablo but Faust was done already, and Diablo isn't an adventure. couldn't think of any other adventure game relating to the subject...

I have en enhanced CD versions of both 25th anniversary and judgement rites. They do rule!
Never finished Judgement rites though. Got stuck at a nazi episode if I remember correctly.

You needn't have worried, there is no rule that the same game may appear only once.

Still, it's an appropriate scene, for today's 666 date, because everybody knows all Star Treks are boring as Hell.

Er... I'll get my coat.

But my disliking the franchise aside, I love the screenshot. Considering the technology available at the time (1993, wasn't it?), they managed to make it impressively dynamic.

Judging by the screenshot, there are action elements in the game? Shooting down spaceships and such?

there are a few rather simple and fun (IMO) ship battles in the game, and several phaser fights which last a couple of seconds each, the rest is pure adventuring.

I wouldn't call that very last ship battle fun at all. I never managed to finish it

Red Shirt guy on the left better not go on any away missions or he's a gonner.

Great games though.

I love how 25th Anniversary and Judgement Rites both came with red shirts that could in fact, get killed on away missions. There was always a way to save them, but they were there, and could get killed, just like in the show.

Actually, that particular "red shirt guy" is Scotty, isn't it? He's not going to die as easily as the rest of them do...
