Sex in Dreamfall?

I notice the Dreamfall box carries the rating symbol that it contains sexual material, I finished the game and the only sexual acts if I can call it that, is Zoe kissing.

Is this a case of being safe than be sorry? I think the ratings won't actually deter players from getting the game anyway. So why not include in a label that make it seems more mature, so that the GTA debacle will not happen on Dreamfall?

Wouldn't it be nice to see Dreamfall sitting beside some adult DVD in your local stall?

I don't think it has to be literal sexual content. I'm sure that it means suggestive sexual activity as well. I mean, there isn't any sex in Duckman (or not that I've seen) but it's suggestive enough to get a higher certificate.

If the dumb mainstream audience are anything to go by, a mature rating might make sales even better for Dreamfall (sad, but true) in the UK at least. Here in the UK, Manhunt was pulled off the shelves of GAME for a month after it was convicted of being the main influence of the murder.

The game then tripled its price tag in places such as Amazon.co.uk. 11-16 year-olds over here seem to think characters F-ing and making constant sexual referrences is the 'in' thing.

Strong Language
Suggestive Themes
Violence

Some of those jokes were suggestive.
And I heard the F word from that guy at what used to be the Border House.
"Some" violence, though not a great deal.
But I don't remember any blood. I must have missed that somehow.

Well, I'm not very far into it, but there was bloody handprint on the back door of the Victory Hotel, and she follows a bloody trail through the basement of the hotel.

Ragnar said on his blog a while ago that they had intended to have some "tasteful" nudity etc. in the game but decided not to after much coonsideration, so maybe the rating was in preperation for that. Really compared to many other modern games Dreamfall is a gentle tho at times energetic

walk in a beautiful park, for which I am very grateful.
