On the other hand, it said "preorder" five days ago, now it's "order Dreamfall LE now".

Somebody on the official forums posted a reply from an email they recieved today.

In the email it states that the LE will be shipped on 25th May!!!

Nobody seems to know if this is correct or a typo on behalf of the asknet staff.

That would mean 20 more days - plus the delivery time - of waiting, barring another delay...

that makes me really, really mad...
it also means that I'll have to change my delivery address to Seattle, since I'll be long gone from Amherst by then....

thank you for contacting Customer Care Center.

the shipping date for all US Customer was the 25.05.06,We are very sorry for all the inconveniences due to delivery date.

For further assistance please do not hesitate to contact us.
.
That doesn't sound like a mail from a Customer Care Center. An awful lot of typos. Anyway, what about the customers outside the US?

Again, not sure about customers outside of US. Communicating with asknet seems to be a big problem, as their english is not too great. (hence the many typos)

Got a mail today confirming that my game has been shipped from their "logistics partner"

It also says that the time of delivery will be 7-20 days. But that's fine with me.

Somebody posted the following on the official forum...

Quote:
Today, I have called asknet in Karlsruhe to inquire after my LE pre-order. They confirmed that they did have some logistics problems and informed me that the Limited Editions are/were to arrive at their warehouse today, which means that they should be sent out over the weekend/beginning of next week and I should hold it in my hands latest by Thursday. When I said that that would mean the normal shipping time within Germany, the guy asked me to wait while he asked again to make sure. After a short time he came back to tell me that the LE's are actually shipped from Ireland and when I guessed that this would probably add a few days to the duration of shipment he said, yes, I could expect my package between the 15th and 18th May.
Looks like the ball is rolling at least.

Talked to them on the phone today. Said they were currently out of stock, but it should ship out in a week. I'm assuming that "in a week" is retailer speak for "next calendar week," so I'm going to be surprised if it is any time before Friday.

Heh... they just sent me an email telling me I'd get my LE order eventually, because it was backordered. Except I never ordered one, and I already got my non-LE copy
