Adventure Game Scene - Mon 3rd April 2006
Who knows if this will last, but let's see if anyone is willing to help me "pick up the torch" and keep this thing going.
So, by way of today's screen, take a look at this: This may die, but it would be a shame, because Wreck managed to keep it up for so long so well . |

Yeah. Perhaps we could all take turns, to make the job easier. You'll take this month, I the next, etc...
Good job on the scene btw, watch out for the zombies!

You know, Robert, when I saw that it was you doing it, I thought 'Oh well, I guess we're not going to see Sierra games for the scene of the day anymore...'.
WRONG! Thanks Rob. And a great game too (I've recently finished it again, long after the beginning of the collective playthrough). Wolfgang rules.

Thanks Rob! Not that I usually know what game it is, but it´s nice to get a glimpse of many different games and also read the comments about it.

Anyway, Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers (for those still wondering what game this is) is, in my own opinion, one of Sierra's finest hours. I happen to have mixed feelings about this particular section of the game, though, which is probably why it lept to mind as a choice of scene. I think it's a useful exercise in generating tension on the part of the designers, but I remember it also annoyed me a lot in the scene where you have to Spoiler:It looks kind of spooky, though, so I think I can forgive it . And yes, Wolfgang rocks . |

One of my top 3 (along w/ GK2). Just a tremendous game which I played through again over the weekend. Also, I may be a rarity but I had no troubles whatsoever playing this via command prompt in WMC (though I did turn off the voices). BTW, thanks for starting this up again

Such a great scene. (after the only frustrating part of the game)
When I saw the title of the screenshot I thought this would be a picture of his view from the airplane when returning to New Orleans. Very cool shot. There's something pretty cool about the whole evil right under your nose feel of the game. Adds to the mystery and suspence. |
