Default LucasArts survey about adventure games

I thought I'd put another spotlight on this.

Done. I was careful not to action/adventure. That's one scary genre, especially in an adventure game survey.

Which of the following are the three most important factors that effect your decision to buy a PC game?
That sentence is grammatically incorrect, but I filled out the survey anyway.

The question about the Sam and Max comic book raised a question for me. I have that comic book. My (now ex) boyfriend bought it for me long before I knew there was a Sam and Max game. (In fact, I don't think he knew about the game either.) Which came first?

Quote:
What is "The Daily Show"
Fake news show on Comedy Central (US cable channel) where Jon Stewart (commedian, used to be on Saturday Night Live) makes fun of what's going on in current events.

Quote:
and "Airplane!"?
Slapstick movie from the 80s (?) with a lot of physical humor and stupid gags. (Similar to the Naked Gun movies.) Takes place on an airplane.

Quote:
...and Nick at Nite,
Nickalodeon is a children's TV channel (also on cable), but for a few hours every night they show classic 50s TV shows like I Love Lucy and Donna Reed. (I think they also show 70s and 80s shows now, like the Cosby Show.)

Quote:
The Brak Show
I have no idea.

Quote:
and Cartoon Networks "Adult Swim"????
The Cartoon Network is yet another cable channel, late at night they show cartoons that are *not* appropriate for children.

Guess if you're not American (or don't have cable), LucasArts doesn't really care what you find funny...

This is AWESOME! The very fact that they are asking is a big deal, at least to me. I hope our input will help convince them to make more adventures...

I also didn't know about any of those but one. "Airplane!" was a 1980 ZAZ comedy with Leslie Nielsen, an airport-drama parody. My guess is that its title has been stupidly translated into your language (it certainly was into mine - Polish translator renamed the movie to something like "Is the pilot on board?").

And, less off-topic, what's the deal with shouting "Done" when you're done? I really didn't find answering this survey so satisfactory that I got excited about it.

I actually have Nickalodeon and Cartoon Network but I never watch them. Thanks for your quick answers.

I think the comic book came first?

At least that happened with Indiana Jones & Fate of Atlantis, the Barwood&Falstein comic came before the game.

It's great that Lucasarts does a survey like this.

I just said done because everyone else did.

I checked the comic section even though I've only seen the comics that have been posted on the internet.

Quick correction for the anal retentive: Jon Stewart was not a cast member of SNL. However, he was a co-host of Comedy Central's short-lived series Short Attention Span Theater. Susequently he hosted his own comedy-talk show which aried originally on MTV and then was syndicated. He has been the host of The Daily Show since 1999.

I think you're right. I think I know which movie it is and it was translated to something truly horrible.
