Our developer selves fought for proper focus group testing, but our tyrannical publisher selves insisted on meeting deadline.

I must say, it was an interesting and enlightening experience to (help) create a game, even one as short and relatively simple as this one. It was a real eye-opener in many ways. Fun, though.

Justly so, I believe. Pretty hard, selling a game called Christmas Quest on Easter.

Sell out.

It's hard to ignore the logic, though.

Hang on. Are you saying the stepladder wasn't a cunning ironic reference to the misleading objects that so many game developers put into their games to boost their gameplay length statistics?

Great game. I don't know which is more worrying. That you thought up so many game in-jokes to fit in there or that I understood most of them.

What I want to know is, when is the greatest adventure game ever! going to be published?

The 400 + hours of gameplay sound really compelling, something I would lock myself away, to play for months.

The only concern I have comes in the game's story. Will it keep me gripped and entertained for that many hours, without the story ever wearing thin? Will there be lots of pixel hunting?

Also, will it be out for next christmas? And will it be a massively multiplayer online adventure game?!

Can't wait to play this!!!

(In addition, just wanted to say thanks for episode one. Was a great laugh, and is very much appreciated. Six years on, this remains one of my favorite websites. Thank you. )

BTW - Is "The Greatest Adventure Game Ever!" a working title?

Maybe it's out already. And maybe not. We didn't name names, and we're not about to start now. You'll just have to keep playing games to find it.

Actually, yes, you could call it that. Except that we've stopped working, and the title remains.

If it's a gift, we can't tell you! That'd spoil the surprise. Does anyone else tell you what you're getting for Christmas?

Chances are we'll be doing... something for Christmas.

If the game has Quest in the title, then you know there will be a sequel every year.

Fov, you worked on the Christmas Quest last year. Can you tell us something about if and what will appear under our digital Christmas trees this year?
