Default Triangle DOTT on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=8217648081

I'm bidding on it but only half heartedly because I can't really afford it. Only a couple hours left. Thought someone might be interested.

Cool! A childhood friend of mine received DOTT in that same triangle box for his 11th birthday waaaay back in 1993. Seeing that style of box again brings back alot of fond memories Cheers Jake!

Adventure classics aren't going for very much these days. That item should have gone for about $200 - $250. The triangle Tentacle box ALWAYS sells for at least $150 or so. Now is a GREAT time to buy adventure games! Get them quick before the Holiday Rush comes.

Eriq is right. Ebay and the "collectors scene" have changed dramatically. But I think the change will be permanent. The market for PC games, rare or not, will NEVER go back to what it was only a year ago.

Imo, imo, imo.

PS: I meant the market for *second-hand* PC games.

A boxed Alice: An Interactive Museum or AD 2044 will still fetch $250-$300. But prices of almost everything else are dropping faster and faster.

PS: I sold my boxed AD 2044 in excellent condition for $268 on American ebay. I'd bought it for $2.50 on a Dutch gaming site.

Heheh... just checked your items, Fiensie. You got a bargain for Neverhood. You wouldn't have been able to get it for that much a couple of years ago, so I see what you mean about the collectors scene not being what it was.

I really can´t understand how people can pay so much for a game, I mean it´s just a game, even though it´s rare..

Absolutely! And it's in mint condition too. There's someone else selling boxed Neverhoods, Buy It Now $55.

Oh, just good old marktplaats.nl, which changed hands and is now part of ebay. I've found a dozen or so of really great bargains there, but that's a thing of the past too.

Yeah, the collector's market sure has gone down. I just recently bought Little Big Adventure 1 & 2 (Which are both pretty rare) for only AUS$11.50 I think I even saw the Neverhood selling for less than $50 recently (Sure did wish I had some spare cash one me )
