You go next Fantasysci5 - I'm stuck for one at the moment anyway, and you gave it to me.

I don't have any pics, and I didn't guess it. Go ahead. Anyways, mine would be too easy. )

Zork Nemesis (It's Sophia's bathtub.)
Now, if I may be so bold as to post the next screenshot (not too hard!)...

Haven't played it, but the style reminds me of Nikopol.

You're right, AFGNCAAP! It's the statue of Paris Governor Jean-Ferdinand Choublanc from Nikopol: Secrets of the Immortals.

I liked ozzie's fresh twist of cropping the screen to just the interface, so let me do something similar. Should be pretty easy.

My first thought on seeing the picture was The Pink Panther, though I've never actually played any of the games based on the character. Judging by the screenshots over on Mobygames, it could be The Pink Panther Passport to Peril.

I couldn't think of any other character with pink cartoon hands.
Here's a picture from a game I couldn't find any mention of in this thread. I was surprised, because the game shouldn't be that obscure: The image has been cropped to remove the user interface, because I figured that would be too much of a giveaway. On the other hand, the image on its own might be tricky to place, so if no one gets it I'll post an uncropped version later. |

One of my favorite IF games. Well, it does have pics and some tentative animations, you can pick words from a list instead of typing them, but essentially it's still a text adventure. And a very good one. Legend Entertainment didn't know how to make bad games. Isn't that Bob Bates in the pic?
