Good answer! It's a fun game actually. Only played it in the last few weeks.

I must say, Jacques, you play the most obscure games.

Fantasy, that's so very true. I play them in some sort of silly predifined order system that I devised. That means that I, unfortunately, and somewhat stupidly, haven't yet played some of the absolute classics. At least, breath permitting, I have some crackers to look forward to. So many, so little time. Sigh!

Gelert, in your site you wrote "Try this one if your curiosity is insatiable. Average only." about Starship Warlock. Is it so bad? How is the gameplay?

Bl00#y hell! Somebody reads my website!!!

Yes Edy. It's a good laugh, but not a quality game by any of todays's standards - or even classic 'yesterday's' for that matter. Depends on your sense of humour I suppose, and your tolerance of old -style. I enjoyed the story though and the hammy soundtrack was one of the major plus points. Pirate space travel neverwas so good. It's more of an IM I suppose, but I liked it as an adventure. No good of you like fancy graphics though.

Don't be afraid of posting in the tumble weed of a forum on Adventure Point when you next visit. The dust bunnies don't bite!

Spaceship Warlock isn't that obscure in the history of adventure games; it even got a Wiki entry ;-). It was one of the first multi-media CD-Rom games and ahead of its time, and it inspired Michel Kripalani to make the Journeyman Project. When you start playing it, you will see how different it is from other games released at that time (1990/1).

Well, it was a big title on the Mac, but an obscurity on PC, especially since it was released 3 years later there when it was already technologically outdated.

And SuperEdy is right, of course!

Last Half of Darkness? Err, the first one (Shadow of the Servants)?

At the moment I'm stumped - but very intrigued. Cracking screenshot!

The Castle Quest screenshots made me smile. I had no idea that that game had been released outside Sweden. "Mysteriet pa Greveholm" was a Swedish television show for children, aired in December 1993. I don't remember if the Christmas theme was kept in the game though.

I realise I haven't played enough adventures to participate in this thread, but I love reading it. Please don't let it die.

Is it a "Last Half of Darkness" game? The 2nd one?

None of the above, but Fantasysci5 is pretty close.

I think both Mystery at Graveholm 2 and 3 were also released outside Sweden, harald. You can find more about them in A-for-Adventure, but I guess you already knew them

I don't know about released outside Sweden, but multi-language versions certainly exist for both. You can find some information about them on Adventure Point; http://www.adventurepoint.co.uk/#/adventure-m-22/4521611521

Is it Tomb of Zojir Edy? If so, and I've no idea if it is, I don't mind if you take the next one Fantasysci5, as I was stuck on this one.

Of course it is Tomb of Zojir (by the way the last half of darkness series consists of 7 titles: 3 for DOS, 1 for windows with impossible LSD colors, SOTS, BTSE and TOZ)
