I dont expect many, if any, to know this. Tbh, this wasnt the scene I wanted to post up but it was my last save point before I finished it. The scene I wanted would've been another 15mins or so of replaying from then on, but then I wouldn't expect you to get it from that one either. xD

I can think of maybe 5 pure adventure games on SNES and none of those could be it.

And not much fun...
Has this thread degenerated into posting-screenshots-of-a-game-nobody-can-ever-hope-to-guess?

Fiene. No, some people just like to present or be presented with a challenge for once. :/
Do a little research.
Its not much fun when you post one that everyone gets immediately.
Its a little challenge. Why not try and get it rather than complain when you havent even tried?

Actually, we've had quite a few very challenging screenshots in the past. So there have been some difficult ones posted before. It seems though, based on what others have said, that yours was especially difficult. When people have been stumped in the past, the original screenshot poster has put up some other shots (that were easier) to get the game moving again.

There have been many challenging pics in this 127-page thread.

How do you know I haven't even tried??
And may I remind you that you maintained more than once that people would not get it:

At least Grey was clever enough to recognise something japanese in my signature.
Congrats. Your go.

FienePien, notice the use of the word "expect" in those two sentences. In my expectation I thought many would struggle with the game, but I did not say it was Impossible that anyone would get it. And as you already know of challenges being posted up, where is your point. Melanie Im sorry I did not think to post other shots. Had someone asked me I most definately would have. Fienepien, by "try" I meant "take a guess".
Anyway, end of conversation.
Grey, hit us.

I removed two small icons from the top of the screen which would've identified the game. I also resized it from 800x600.

In Dutch we call this "antfucking". Wonderfully expressive expression. But since you're in England, I'd better explain that by "antfucking" I mean "nitpicking".

BTW, you got my point allright, no doubt about it.

This is a third-person adventure. The screenshot is of a particular puzzle in the game.

It was never released in North America, but it is available in English as well as other languages. I'm sure most here have at least heard of it.

No, far less popular than Syberia.

If no one gets it, I'll post another screen.
