Default Win *The Neverhood* and show off your AG culture!

Ladies and gentlemen,
Mysters, IFers and Point'n'clickers,

You fancy yourself as a REAL adventure gamer?
Prove it!

And win, if you're the best, *The Neverhood*, a great game offered by our even greater friend Fienepien!
No, don't leave, IT IS a great game!
http://www.adventuregamers.com/article/id,300

All you have to do is answer as much questions as possible:

1) How many prisoners has the AM computer taken to torture them?
2) Which cowboy has an indian sidekick?
3) In which game does a Most Infamous Puzzle involve making rain with a butterfly?
4) Who is slimy, jumpy, green and fancies being a rock'n'roll star?
5) How do you secure your treasures in the white house?
6) Which famous text adventure author has a comics author homonym?
7) In what game do you have to track a group of dangerous anarchists as a goldfish?
8) What adventure games were designed with the help of Giger?
9) Who are you tricking with mandrake root, cat hair, fish oil and porridge?
10) In which interactive fiction are you kidnapped in a dirty bar in Ohio by aliens at the beginning?
11) Which mighty hero with a fiery green companion nonetheless has to tidy his bedroom and go to school?
12) Put back these irritating robots in their original games (and close the lid) : Floyd, Marvin, Joey and Arthur
13) Whose hand is giving Zanthia a bad time?
14) In which adventure spy game do you have the opportunity to pilot a submarine?
15) Who is the the last of the Ritters?

Easy, ain't it?

You have until Sep the 5th to answer and win!
How?
Easy :
send an e-mail with (VERY IMPORTANT) subject "Quizz : 8 answers" (if you have 8 answers )
to the address [email protected]
The mail should contain your AGForums nick and... guess what... the answers.

Another important stuff, you can only play if you have ever posted on the www.adventuregamers.com forums!
So if you haven't, create an account and get in the ring! And tell your friends to play.

If several people have the same number of good answers, the game will be oxy-acetylene torched in equal slices.
OR a subsidiary question will be posted.

All other means of answering will be ignored and your body will be fed to insane mutant jackalweres.
Don't pretend you weren't told.

Tramboi & Fienepien

Of course you can discuss here the number of answers you've got, to discourage other contestants

(And of course, bluffing is nasty but authorized )

What a nice thing to do. I have stickied this thread.

Just to clarify - people should put in the subject of the email how many answers they have? (So say "8 answers" if you have 8, "10 answers if you have 10," etc?)

And do you want people to include their forum name in the email so you know they've posted here?

I was going to say sticky this thread. At work at the moment, but will be looking closely at the questions when I get home... I think I've got a fair few of them

Exactly! So that I can sort more easily!

Nobody would dare to cheat! It will be easy enough to verify, but yes, that might be a good idea!

Of course everybody can play except Fienepien and me, even AG staff

Well, looking at those questions, I don't stand a chance in hell.

Still, thought I'd post just to say what an excellent idea this is. What a great pairing up .

None of these questions are from any of the AG I have ever played, so I'll pass this one.

Nice price, though. Does it come with the box?

The prize consists of 1 CD + booklet in the original jewel-case. Everything in excellent condition. No box.

I wonder how many question you have to get right to have a realistic shot at winnig this thing. I think I've got 10 (6 for sure and another 4 a bit iffy). I'd say if you are a fan of AGs, you should at least get 4, 5 questions without much difficulty.

This was a lot easier than Tramboi's earlier quizzes.

Yeah, I've got about ten as well... 2 of the other questions sound really familiar as well... :/ I just know I'm giong to send my answers in and then immediately remember an answer to one of the other ones.

I've never played any of the Kyrandia games. I wonder if I will be cheating if I play Hand of Fate now to get the answer to one of the questions...

I certainly hope not. I just booted up one of the games to get a different answer.

You can blame me for that... I asked the Quizz Master not to make it too difficult.

And easy it is
Of course I had to leave some google-proof harder stuff to determine the real champion!

It is not cheating.
Offering me huge amounts of money is not cheating either

Come on!
Playing 200 games during the week-end should allow you to win easily!
Or maybe a little creative googling

Okay, just submitted my entry... There's one more answer, I'm sure I know, but I can't for the life of me think what it is... If I remember, can I add that to my submission?

I have 11; I answered one question with what I thought must be the right answer, then stumbled across the actual answer while searching for another answer (which I never found). Crazy, ain't it?
