Unable to play Dracula 3 - Help
Found this site a while ago and decided to get a game from here, and so I purchased the Dracula 3 game. Download was fine, and install was fine.
However running Dracula 3 for the first time, it says it will be installing some TAGES Drivers, and need to run in Admin mode. I clicked No to cancel, then made sure to run Dracula 3 with admin privileges. I keep getting TAGES Driver Unable to proceed (error 1275) and Insufficient Privileges: you must be administrator when you run this application for the first time. Using Windows 7 Professional (32 bit) I only have 1 account on this computer, so I am on my admin account Apparently if you d/l and install the updated TAGES drivers, the game will start just fine. I visited the TAGES website: http://www.tagesprotection.com/main.htm Then selected Drivers from the top, and d/l the latest TagesSetup.exe (They have 32 or 64 bit versions). I then ran the TagesSetup, installed the latest drivers (remember to run this app as an Administrator). Then the Game loaded just fine. I am just assuming the current version of TAGES on some of the games on the Adventure Shop are outdated (for Win 7 users). The above should help you if you are using Win 7, like me. Hope this helps! |
