Default [New Games] BROKEN SWORD 2 & 3

Dear Adventurer Friends,

We released CLASSIC adventure games for your week-end, BROKEN SWORD 2: THE SMOKING MIRROR and BROKEN SWORD 3: THE SLEEPING DRAGON.

Both games have been highly acclaimed.Broken Sword 3 is a release from 2003 so in case you missed it, here is the AG review, which gave it 4 stars out of 5.

Not to mention, the review of BS2 is WAY too harsh. Great game, underrated by this site!

Default playable with ScummVM

Is this version of BS2 Smoking Mirror playable with ScummVM on Mac or Linux? (I played the PlayStation version of BS1 on ScummVM for Mac with no problems.)

Interesting. GOG also carries Broken Swords 2 and 3, but not 1. I wonder, are there some issues with the rights (perhaps related to the recent Wii and DS rereleases), or what? Many people, me included, consider it the best in the series by far.

Without knowing for sure, I don't think there's any question it's related to the new Director's Cut. Until that market's been exhausted, cheap alternatives tend not to go over well with publishers when trying to peddle new games.
