Never again!!
This is the first time using adventure company download service, and will probably be my last.
I thought it would be a straight download, but instead box after box came up asking me to install a download manager, bittorrent software and some kind of community thing. Anayway I had paid my money for Overclocked. A history of violence. so I installed all, Pasted the bin file into the download manager and copied to desktop, clicked on the desktop file and up came the " This will install Overclocked onto your computer, I thought all was ok, but when I clicked ok, a box popped up asking me to insert disk 6 into the drive, :frusty: being as this is a download and I dont have a disk I am at a loss of what to do next. If anyone knows how I can sort this It would be apreciated. Thanks Steve |
Hi Steve!
I don't work at AS but I am a staff member here. I got this game through AS as well, but I live in the US. I had 7 files total that I downloaded. I put them all in one folder on the desktop and then started the first file and it just installed everything from there. What file names did you get (so I can compare to mine) and do you have them all in one folder? |
Oh Melanie68, Thank you so much for that!!!
I realise now. What a complete idiot I am (Embarrassed) Quote:
Apologies to The Aventure Company, I should have known I was doing something wrong. Many thanks Melanie68 Steve |
Let us know how it goes. :)

Got it working fine. Happy now :)
Really apreciate your help Melanie. Thanks again Steve |
You're welcome! Enjoy the game. :)
