I was thinking about doing a poll about it, but then again I would need some 'phrases' to put in the poll. So what do you think are the most spoken phrases in Adventure games? Give some examples and of course, specify which game are you talking about. Anyway right now all I can think of is:
1) 'Hmm... maybe later' (usually spoken when the programmers want the character to do something, but they didn't want to spend time doing useless animations)
2) 'I can't use these two things together' (it has lots of variations, but the point doesn't change: it's a useless thing-ma-bob, hmmmmmmmmm no!, etc.)
