I never looked into Scratches before, so I know next to nothing about it.
How exactly is it scary? Creepy/scary environment but no real danger to your character? Or AmnesiA "OMG the monster came out of nowhere and I must run" scary???
Asylum is looking mighty fine, but I don't like AmnesiA-style scary. 
Because I'm a wuss...
