Today we went to the
birds' islands again to see the remaining ice. The islands are directly left of the leftmost pier on the map I linked to. They were made there to attract birds, and boy do they attract birds! We walked the length of the pier and back.

The air was very wet, which is why the pictures look so white. When we walked back from the end of the pier we had some sleet, which you hardly ever get in Holland. It was quite cold but beautiful.
