Personally, I think the graphics are one of the strong points of Grim Fandango. Maybe you just don't like animated skeletons.
You could be sprouted for that.
And the music! Oh, well, the look, the music, the whole thing. The only thing that still drives me nuts is trying to get up a certain doohickey and out of the ocean.
